These wine glasses are designed to be felt as much as they are seen. Deliberately weighty in hand, their distinctive form turns a simple glass into a considered object—something you notice, hold onto, and return to. Gem-like elements subtly reappear in the low foot and within the bowl itself, creating a visual rhythm that ties the piece together. Confident, unconventional and tactile, this set brings presence to the table without losing its sense of ease.

Working with glass artist Nienke Sikkema felt less like a collaboration and more like stepping into another universe. Her world is one of molten timing, controlled chaos, and shapes that behave like carved light. Together we created a family of glass objects that feel like contemporary gemstones — heavy, luminous, and a little unruly.
