HKLIVING x Van Gogh
Bringing Van Gogh into our creative workspace wasn’t about recreating his work. It was about studying the energy behind it: the tension in his strokes, the unexpected palettes, the emotional noise inside each composition. Three of his paintings became the starting point for a new wave of 70s Ceramics.
Instead of illustration, we translated mood into glaze. Brushstrokes into texture. Colour fields into form. The result is a series that feels familiar yet unexpected — rooted in Dutch art heritage, but unmistakably modern in execution. It’s not a tribute that sits behind glass; it’s one you can drink your morning coffee from.
